The last step is to type what actually turns up: whole sentences, with capitals, spaces and punctuation.
A sentence puts every part to work at once. Shift at the start, a comma in the middle and a full stop at the end, and between them the hand has to find its way back to the home position.
In the game the first player to finish forty lines wins, and since a wrong letter costs time, accuracy is worth as much there as it is here.
Once the sentences come without pauses, it is time for the game. There you also get opponents and a clock, which is a skill of its own.
